Kitchen08 takes place at the newly remodeled Governor Hotel, a historic Pacific Northwest landmark that combines 95 years of historical ambiance and modern convenience. Free WiFi Internet access is available in the hotel lobby, and Portland’s lively shopping and cultural experiences are just steps outside the door. Max Light Rail is just one block from the hotel, providing direct service to and from the Portland International Airport.

Special Kitchen Attendee Rate

Stay at The Governor for the conference and get a special rate. Kitchen ’08 attendees receive a discounted rate of $160/plus taxes if reservations are made before March 24, 2008. Special room rate applies for the following dates: April 23, 24 and 25, 2008.

Airport Transportation Options

The MAX Light Rail system services Portland International Airport Baggage Terminal to downtown Portland, and operates every 15 minutes. The fare is $2 one way for the 45-minute ride, with a stop just 1 block (at the Galleria at 10th and Morrison) from The Governor.

Parking

Valet parking is available at hotel entrance on SW 11th Ave between SW Alder and Morrison streets. The fee is $27 overnight and $20 for all day events. Additional parking options are available within walking distance at the nearest SmartPark located on SW 10th Ave and Yamhill.
